Pool Supply World remains committed to helping you keep your pool clean, clear & safe. Due to overwhelming demand, order processing may take up to an additional 72 hours.
The health and safety of our customers, communities and associates remains our highest priority and we continue to take all CDC recommended precautions necessary to ensure their safety and well-being.
While the majority of our employee base is successfully working from home, our distribution facilities are up and running. We are proud to have an outstanding team that is working quickly and safely to provide our customers with the essential items they need to keep their pool and spa water healthy and safe.
Here are the steps we are taking in response to COVID-19.
DCs, Transportation and Packaging Plants
Team members who are experiencing symptoms or have been in close contact with someone who has been exposed to the coronavirus or who has symptoms are asked to stay home.
If team members are uncomfortable reporting to work, we are offering flexibility during this time to accommodate their needs.
We have stopped all non-essential vendors entering our facilities
No visitors are allowed in the facilities
We have canceled all business travel
We are routinely sanitizing surfaces, including payment counters and other frequent touchpoints following each customer interaction.
We require the use of disposable nitrile gloves and disposable protective masks for all team members.
Employees are practicing social distancing (6 ft.).
We have split teams into two completely separate and isolated shifts to reduce exposure and allow for improved spacing during operations
Frequent sanitization of common and high-touch surfaces
Deep cleaning and sanitization of complete facility two times weekly
Daily temperature scans of all associates and essential vendors prior to entering the facility
Eliminate driver and DC/Plant staff interaction/direct contact
Revised all training procedures to maintain social distancing and increased PPE
Created new dedicated safety protocol compliance staff to ensure all safety standards are maintained.
Reduced delivery frequency and off-cycle shipments
We are all in this together.
